Agreement Between Cordelia Fire District and City of Fairfield Approved by LAFCO
Following a unanimous decision by Solano Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), the City of Fairfield's application to extend its full range of services to the Cordelia Fire Protection District (CFPD) was approved this morning.
Nearly two years in the making, the now valid cooperative agreement between the City of Fairfield and CFPD spans eight years with an option to extend for an additional eight-year period.
Fairfield Fire Department will primarily respond to CFPD from Station 35 (Lopes Rd)/future Station 36 (Business Center Drive) and looks forward to enhancing service levels in the District!
