Both Cordelia fire stations (31 & 29) have now become official Baby Safe Surrender sites.
Downloadable are the California Baby Safe Surrender information brochure and the county Safe Surrender sites Resolution showing what other sites have been designated.
What makes this significant to Cordelia is that we are the ONLY county dept to do this. This being the case, the CFPD will make every effort possible to always keep both stations staffed and available.
If you are a new parent and your child is 72 hours old or younger, you may discreetly and safely surrender your child without fear of judgement or legal consequence to one of our two stations:
