Free Residential Green Waste Disposal event the next two Saturdays! The Solano Fire Safe Council will hold a pair of free residential green waste disposal events for the unincorporated area.
The first is Saturday, August 3, from 8 a.m. to noon. The second is Aug. 10, also from 8 a.m. to noon.
Dispose of all your landscape trimmings, including branches, grass, leaves, vines, plants, weeds (and) small quantities of fruit attached to branches.
Materials that will not be accepted: Anything over 3 inches in diameter, dirt, rock, palm fronds, oleanders, root balls (and) large tree trunks/stumps.
The drop-off locations are at the Vacaville Fire Protection District, Station 67, 4135 Cantelow Road, in rural Vacaville; the Falls Elementary School, 1624 Rockville Road, Fairfield; the Montezuma Fire Protection District, Station 52, 2151 Collinsville Road, Birds Landing; Suisun Fire Protection District, Station 32, 4965 Clayton Road, Fairfield; and Recology Vallejo, 2021 Broadway, Vallejo.
